Campbell woman charged with vehicular homicide



A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted a Campbell resident on an aggravated vehicular- homicide charge in the March 2 death of a motorcyclist on South Avenue.

Tasha L. Moore, 28, of Jackson Street, who reportedly drove without a valid driver’s license, was indicted Thursday on the second-degree felony charge, which carries a possible prison term of two to eight years.

The motorcyclist, Charles Mulligan, 48, of Boardman, was southbound when a car pulled into his path from a parking lot. The motorcycle hit that car and was thrown into oncoming traffic, where it was hit by a second car.

Mulligan was thrown into the path of a third car that hit him and dragged him about 60 feet, Youngstown police said.

Others indicted were:

Treven Johnson, 22, of West Glenaven Avenue or Arch Street, 20 counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition against a person who was age 12 and 13 when the alleged crimes occurred.

Samantha Gonzalez, 19, of Madison Avenue, improperly handling a gun in a motor vehicle.

K-Shaun Weaver, 18, of Oak Street, cocaine and heroin possession and trafficking with forfeiture specifications and possessing criminal tools.

Sanford L. Byrd, 20, of Sunshine Avenue, cocaine possession, carrying a concealed weapon and improperly handling a gun in a motor vehicle.

Kevin R. Jackson, also known as Kevin R. Thompson, 27, of Sherwood Avenue, cocaine possession, illegal gun possession and improperly handling a gun in a motor vehicle.

Justin G. Wilkins, 19, of Upland Avenue, two counts of robbery.

Michael G. Borgmann, 35, of Omar Avenue, Struthers, heroin possession.

James Cooper, 48, of Omar Avenue, Struthers, three counts of assault.

Daniel J. Adams, 29, of Glen Allen, Va., misdemeanor misuse of a credit card.

Curtis K. Hayes Sr., 50, of Clearmount Drive, cocaine possession.

Gregory L. Beck II, 28, of Hilton Avenue, domestic violence, illegal gun possession, carrying concealed weapons and drug possession.

Brandon J. McGann, 22, of Olian Avenue, Northwest, Warren, theft.

James Austin, 29, of West Glenaven Avenue, marijuana trafficking and two counts of drug possession with forfeiture specifications.

Harold H. Jones III, 23, of Cincinnati, theft.

Jake Turner Jr., 52, of West Glenaven Avenue, cocaine possession and escape.

Dayne F. Rambo, 46, of East Western Reserve Road, Boardman, receiving stolen property and breaking and entering.

Dennis Hugh Piper, 43, of Renkenberger Road, Beaver Township, domestic violence and theft.

Brian Jenkins, 36, of West Boston Avenue, cocaine possession with a forfeiture specification.

Michael Rivers, 26, of Miller Street, drug possession.

Paulo Ricotelli, 27, of Kennedy Road, Lowellville, theft, breaking and entering and grand theft.

Scott Anderson, 38, of Raymond Street, marijuana trafficking.

Derrick Stennis, 19, of Brooklyn Avenue, cocaine possession.

Glenn McKimmie, 21, of Burt Avenue, Alliance, and Joseph A. Benedetti, 24, of West New York Avenue, Sebring, felonious assault.

Larry J. Brown, 24, of Fairmont Avenue, improperly handling a gun in a motor vehicle.

Glenda Donnalley, 45, of Market Street, heroin possession.

Joe W. Haskins Jr., 46, of West Delason Avenue, two counts of illegal use of food stamps or WIC program benefits.

Elizabeth A. Pless, 42, of Robinwood Avenue, cocaine possession.

Angela Salem, 36, of Youngstown-Hubbard Road, cocaine possession.

Marcus Clark, 29, of Avondale Avenue, escape.

The grand jury declined to indict Samuel P. Salem of Youngstown-Hubbard Road on a drug-possession charge.
