Rain to delay start of Columbiana baseball state semifinal

A morning rainstorm delayed the start of the Division IV state baseball semifinals, which will delay the start of Columbiana's game against Newark Catholic today.

The Clippers' game against Newark Catholic was scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The first semifinal, however, may end after five innings. Fort Loramie led Toledo Ottawa 11-1 entering the bottom of the fourth inning around 12:30 p.m.
