Staff report

Youngstown

Miracle Treat Day will take place Thursday at the Cornersburg Dairy Queen, 3555 S. Meridian Road.

During the one-day event, the restaurant will donate $1 for every Blizzard treat sold to the Children’s Miracle Network to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital in Boardman.

The Children’s Miracle Network is a nonprofit

organization dedicated to saving and improving lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America.

Money raised at the Cornersburg restaurant will aid children in the

Mahoning Valley. Last year, the store donated $1,973 to Akron Children’s Hospital.

Treat Day will be a

carnival-type event. A bounce house, balloon animals, face painting and games including mini golf, basketball-shooting contest, spin art and cornhole are on tap.
