Published: Sat, July 31, 2010 @ 6:07 p.m.

WARREN

Four Mahoning County men have been indicted on charges related to a carjacking on Millennium Boulevard near the Bazetta Township Walmart on June 15.

Maurice D. Teague, 19, of Almyra Avenue in Youngstown, was indicted on four charges: complicity to aggravated robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Three others — Jerome Turner, 24, of Hillman Way in Boardman; Jermaine Beverly, 20, of East Lucius Avenue in Youngstown; and James Williams, 18, of Randolph Street, Youngstown — were indicted on a single count of complicity to aggravated robbery.

All four are also charged with committing the crime with a firearm. The robbery charge carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.

Police said the four men robbed two men around 8:30 p.m. Police arrested Turner, Beverly and Williams about 30 minutes later about a mile west of the Walmart. Beverly was arrested near the Walmart June 16.

OUCH ! These boys were just having a little bit of fun and the authorities got serious . Probation please since they are from Mahoning County and this is the usual form of punishment there .

Ghetto Metals may soon be launched with a public stock offering . Our area has many tons of copper available just for the taking . Aluminum has already reached its peak and now houses are going vinyl . Recycling metal that is already in use has been the trend for many years and has gained widespread acceptance . What has been a fringe venture now is on the path to being mainstream . Yep, they figure that society's intolerance is quickly fading .
