Report: Daryll Clark signs with Calgary

Published: Mon, July 19, 2010 @ 4:28 p.m.

Ursuline High graduate Daryll Clark signed with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League, according to report by WFMJ-TV.

Clark, a standout QB for the Irish and Penn State, had a tryout with the Washington Redskins’ minicamp after going unselected in April’s NFL draft but did not earn a contract with the team.

Go get em Daryll

He'll got the physical talent and all he needs is time to learn pro sets. He was hindered played at Penn State running a primitive offense.

If he plays loose and digests what he'll be seeing and learning about pro sets he'll turn a lot of heads in Canada

He will end up being one of the top players in Canada and then the NFL will be calling.

CORRECTION:

I'd fat fingered the passage that " He's GOT the physical talent " and only needs time to learn and adjust to the pros sets from exposure.

To add to that the Redskins are QB loaded and they didn't need him just like the Steelers.

But the Cleveland Clowns and Cincinnati Bungles are loosing fools with a legacy. That are losers by design having missed out on giving players like Clark a look.

To those that think pro? sports in Ohio is cursed. I emphatically tell you no it's not.

The franchises are just serially stupid and there prejudice keeps getting them pounded into insignificant doormats.

In football alone they let local talents like Sherman Smith, Mike Cobb, Terry Taylor, Orlando Pace, Kory Stringer, the Stoops Brothers, LeCharles Bentley, Jeff Wilkens, Anthony Floyd, Brad Smith, Keiwan Ratliff, Troy Smith, Mario Manningham and now Daryll Clark a host of others get away

It took the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers to even find QB's Ron Jaworski and Cliff Stoudt at Y.S Shrew.

The Cleveland Clowns are so pathetic they somehow they traded Warren native WR Paul Warfield out of Ohio State to draft a guy named Mike Phipps,.. it's historic.

Where Warfield went on to become a hall of famer and star at WR for the super bowl champs Miami Dolphins and posted the only undefeated record in NFL history,..

Then ask who Mike Phipps is and what the Browns have been doing after Jim Brown stopped carrying them last century.

The CLE Clowns thought they saw QB talent in a Charlie Frye and a Brady Quinn and paid for it { again and again },... LMAO !!!

So the next time a local dares wonder why the CLE Clowns and Cincy Bungles are pathetic and their tickets so worthless.

Look at their legacies and let there be no question that they'll continue to loose by design and their local scouting is historically beyond outlandishly laughable.

When Clark does eventually enter the NFL the last place I'd like to see him waste his talents are with the bozo Browns or Bungles.

Folks you can't make this stuff up and it's not only true. But it's actually the stuff where we write comedic sitcoms from.
