It looks like Kelly Pavlik will make his ring return against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on Dec. 4 at Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
Pavlik's manager, Cameron Dunkin, said the camp has already committed to the bout, which will be fought at 160 pounds.
Pavlik (36-2, 32 KOs) is coming off a middleweight championship loss to Sergio Martinez in April. He had planned to jump to super middleweight but wasn't satisfied with his fight options at that weight.
Chavez Jr. (41-0-1, 30 knockouts), the son of the legendary Mexican fighter, will first fight Sept. 11 in Mexico before taking on Pavlik.
