YOUNGSTOWN
Police said someone used what appeared to be a large type of firework to blow the screen door off a house in the 500 block of Idora Avenue.
The resident of the house, a 60-year-old man, told police he was watching television in his living room around 12:50 a.m. Monday when he heard a loud explosion and debris flew across the room. He wasn’t injured.
Police said the explosive devise was placed in the door frame.
The victim told police he has been having trouble with his neighbors and suspected some of them might be responsible.

Explosive DEVICE, not deviSe....sheeesh.
Just another case of idiots buying and using illegal fireworks. Phantom and others should be shut-down. The bs waiver they have folks sign is a farce...
Nah, legalize them, have all your fireworks bar coded and entered into a system with the buyers name for tracking purposes, make people take a class and pay a permit fee, its a win for everyone that way. They'll never go away.
HHHMMMNNN?????
And so it goes~~~~
most fireworks available at phantom are unable to blow a screen door off, the ones that could are either too bulky or would start a fire that would draw more attention. it was either home made, or some other illegal explosive that is baned outside of military training areas. im suprised that there are very many, if any accidents from these things yet
