WARREN — A Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department corrections officer who is also a Braceville Township police officer was arrested Friday in the ongoing investigation of heroin distribution in Trumbull County.

He is charged with unauthorized use of the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway, a fifth-degree felony, and obstruction of justice, a third-degree felony.
TAG investigators removed a computer, monitor, desktop printer and a boost mobile phone from the home. They also confiscated uniform items, a police radio, identification cards and keys, all property of Braceville Township, and a Glock firearm, property of the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department.

Some doctors can now treat painkiller and heroin addiction in the privacy of their office with a monthly prescription of buprenorphine (Suboxone/Subutex). Bupe is abuse resistant and has a ceiling to its effects making accidental fatal overdoses unlikely. It also blocks other opioids for days, and is not euphoric to people tolerant to opioids. It has enough opioid effect to stop cravings and withdrawal allowing the patient and their family to make the necessary changes that will translate to sustained addiction remission.
TreatmentMatch.org is a free service from the non-profit organization - National Alliance of Advocates for Buprenorphine Treatment (NAABT.org) it is a confidential way to find doctors certified to treat opioid addiction in their office.

Let him sit with his own kind. What a discrace to other honest officers.
A corrupted officer, isn't the first time and won't be the last. Just glad he got busted.
Since officers seem to have to much money so they can buy heroin, cocaine, crack and other items which are illegal maybe they all need to take a pay cut. This might help make officers and even administrators more honest and drug free. Posted by Jamie
