“Two and a Half Men” (9 p.m., CBS): Which sounds like less fun — hearing about Charlie Sheen’s real-life marital strife, or watching him prepare for a colonoscopy on “Two and a Half Men”? You decide.

“Life Unexpected” (9 p.m., the CW): In the sweet, but not too sappy new drama, “Life Unexpected,” a lifelong foster child (Britt Robertson) tracks down her birth parents (Shiri Appleby and Kristoffer Polaha). That’s when the problems — and surprises — begin.
