WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) — A student at a northeastern Pennsylvania Roman Catholic college is facing charges for reportedly urinating on a public nativity scene.
Police in Wilkes-Barre say 22-year-old Nathan Strawn was seen urinating on the city’s nativity scene early Sunday morning.
Strawn is charged with public drunkenness, indecent exposure, open lewdness and desecration of venerated objects.
Police identified Strawn as a student at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre. The school released a statement saying it reviews student behavior and will address the incident.
Strawn was arraigned Sunday and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
