KATRINA CARLSON | ANTHONY COCCA

St. Dominic Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 15 for the wedding of Katrina Carlson and Anthony Cocca.

The bride is a daughter of John and Kathy Carlson of Boardman. Mr. Cocca is a son of Anthony Cocca of Poland and Lisa Cocca of Hubbard.

The Rev. John Keehner officiated, and a reception took place at the Avalon Inn Grand Ballroom in Warren.

The newlyweds live in Poland since returning from a honeymoon to France, Italy and Greece.

The bride’s ivory satin trumpet-style gown featured a deep V-neckline and empire belt.

Maid of honor was Kristy Elmo, and bridesmaids were Kristy Wilkerson, Lydia Salamone, Lynsey Elmo, Loni Cocca, and Candace Brown. They wore chocolate-brown gowns. Joan and Shannon Reardon were flower girls.

Nick Habuda was best man, and groomsmen were John Carlson and Jordan Petrella, Will Cook, Paul Wanat and Joe Zidian. Ring bearers were Salvatore Mangano and Michael Gaudiosi. Ushers were Marc and Matt Barca.

Mrs. Cocca graduated magna cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Her husband holds a degree in business administration from YSU and is director of purchasing at Cocca Development in Boardman.
