WARREN — The last two suspects in a double homicide in Liberty Township are in custody.
Detective Michael Yannucci of Trumbull County Sheriff’s Department and a member of the Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force, said Marquese J. Floyd, 25, of Youngstown, was arrested without incident by Warren police at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the corner of Highland and West Market streets.
He was wanted on an aggravated murder charge in a double-homicide Nov. 15, 2009, in Liberty Township.
Yannucci said a female associate of Floyd’s alerted the sheriff’s department to his whereabouts because he originally had told the woman he wanted to turn himself in but then changed his mind. An alert went out with a description of Floyd and what he was wearing, and WPD located him.
Floyd will make his initial court appearance at 9 a.m. Thursday before Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge John M. Stuard.
Liberty Police Chief Richard Tisone said late Tuesday that Denise L. Jackson, 25, also had been taken into custody and was in the county jail. He had no details on her arrest.
Three people, all of Youngstown, already were in custody in the murders of Wilneice L. Green and her 13-year-old daughter, Ja-Brajasia, who were killed at their residence, 3022 Northgate Drive.
They are: Melvin L. Turner, 36, being held by police in Baltimore, and James M. Christian, 20, and Appolonia E. Baker, 25, both in Trumbull County Jail. Baker surrendered to the task force Feb. 18.
Tisone had previously noted that all of those accused in the homicides have criminal records.

Great for this female associate of Floyds who did the right thing. Wish more would follow her example.
These people had much to contribute in enhancing the culture of Warren . Truly a setback for the subculture of Warren
It is nice to see that even the associates of Floyd stood up against crime! I wish more of us had the strength to do what they did!
