Police arrest man at business

Police found two guns inside the business.

LIBERTY — A Boardman man was in the Trumbull County Jail facing multiple charges after police were called to his Belmont Avenue business on a report of gunshots.

Troy Keslar, 28, of Ranier Trail, Boardman, is charged with obstructing official business, possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse and illegal-weapons possession.

Chief Richard Tisone said people heard arguing inside Bad Boys Toys, a motorcycle-sales and repair shop about 11:50 a.m. Thursday.

When police arrived, they saw a man, later identified as Keslar, walk up to the door, lock it and walk away, the chief said.

When officers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Girard, Hubbard and Vienna police departments arrived to assist, police kicked the door in to find Keslar and two others inside.

Police found suspected crack cocaine and a pipe on Keslar. After getting permission, they searched the business and found two handguns inside. One of the guns had been reported stolen out of Sharon, Pa., Tisone said. Keslar was arrested. The others inside the business were released.

Police also found other items at the business, including a big-screen television and three motorcycles, which police suspect were stolen. No one was injured.
