Kent State 68, Central Michigan 63
PLEASANT, Mich. — Justin Greene scored 22 points as Kent State won to stay in first place. With 12:54 remaining in the game Jordan Bitzer hit a 3-pointer that gave Central Michigan (11-10, 6-3) their largest lead of the game, 48-39. The Golden Flashes (17-7, 8-2) responded with a 13-0 run to take a 52-48 lead with 8-minutes remaining. Chris Singletary was 7 of 9 from the floor with 19 points, and game-highs with six assists and six rebounds for Kent State. The Golden Flashes are on a seven-game winning streak.
Akron 75, Ball State 70, OT
MUNCIE, Ind. — Brett McKnight drilled a 3-pointer with 1:14 left in overtime. Two players had double-doubles for the Zips (17-7, 7-3 Mid-American), who beat Ball State for the sixth straight time. Nikola Cvetinovic had 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Jimmy Conyers had 12 points and 10 boards. Anthony Hitchens led Akron with 17 points. McKnight added 12.
Eastern Michigan 70, Ohio 61
YPSILANTI, Mich. — Carlos Medlock was just a point shy of tying his career best as he scored 31 points. It was Medlock’s best performance since scoring 32 points against Davenport in November. Brandon Bowdry snagged his 12th double-double of the season, scoring 17 points and pulling down 15 rebounds for the Eagles.

DeKALB, Ill. — Kenny Hayes had 22 points and Julian Mavunga added 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead Miami.

TOLEDO — Rodney Pierce scored 16 points, leading four players in double figures as Buffalo extended Toledo’s winless streak to 14 games.
