The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 3 p.m. ceremony on Sept. 17 as Kerrie Gardner and Jason Frease, both of Columbus, were united in marriage at St. Patrick Church.
Deacon Mike Kocjancic officiated at the ceremony, for the daughter of John and Margaret Gardner and the son of David and Linda Frease, all of Boardman.
The couple greeted guests at a reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield before leaving on a wedding trip to the Bahamas. They live in Hilliard
The bride wore her mother’s wedding gown.
Julie Dorazio, the groom’s sister, and Samantha Peters, the bride’s cousin, served as honor attendants. They wore truffle-colored gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Jennifer Wilder, Jessica Sease and Kristen Guappone, a cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Kaylee Oleksa, also a cousin of the bride.
Serving as best men were Stephen Kocon and the groom’s brother Justin Frease. Groomsmen were Bran Dorazio, the groom’s brother-in-law, and Dustin and Joshua Gardner, brothers of the bride. Ring bearer was Aidan Frease, a cousin of the groom.
A graduate of Ohio State University with a master of arts degree, Mrs. Frease is a speech pathologist with Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
The groom, a department manager with Giant Eagle in Columbus, graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
