Mill Creek MetroParks Director
The Mill Creek MetroParks Board of Commissioners has chosen Clarke Johnson as the new executive director. The MetroParks system has been without a permanent director since 2009 when former director David Imbrogno resigned. Johnson officially will be appointed by the board at Monday’s 4 p.m. meeting at the MetroParks Farm in Canfield.

Johnson said he was employed by the park system to form and maintain a partnership with the National Park Service to ensure to opening and operation of the park’s $10 million regional environmental education center.

San Jose State University, San Jose, Calif.: Took master’s courses from 1976 to 1979.
Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kan.: Master’s degree in parks and recreation administration in 1979.
