Campbell makes arrest in home invasion case

Campbell police arrested a man Friday in connection with a Nov. 29 home invasion, in which a baby and a woman were threatened at gunpoint.

Andrei Cash, 22, is charged with aggravated robbery, felonious assault and intimidation of a witness, said Detective Sgt. John Rusnak.

Cash and another man are accused of pushing a woman and her baby into their home on Sixth Street at 12:50 a.m. before pointing a gun at the woman and demanding money.

When the woman could not comply, Cash is accused of bashing her head against the wall as another man pointed a gun at her 1-year-old. The men eventually left.

Rusnak said officers had a suspect the night of the home invasion, but finished the investigation before arresting him.
