STRUTHERS
A missing seeing-eye dog is home safe now with his owner.
Gannon, and 8-year-old German shepherd belonging to Sam Vona of Creed Street, was found about 10 a.m. wandering on Clingan Road near Poland High School without his collars and identification tags, Vona said late this morning.
He had been missing since Saturday evening after suddenly running out of the Vonas’ yard. The family feared he had been stolen.
Vona, who only has 2 percent of his sight, said his reunion with Gannon prompted tears.
“Tears of joy.”

THANK GOD!!!
AWE! That is wonderful that he was found safe and sound!
The person or people that helped return this dog to it's owner have done a great thing. I don't know the people or the dog, but you have probably saved the dog's life! Thank you for doing the right thing. Thank you again.
