Obama claims GOP trying to destroy Social Security

Published: Sat, August 14, 2010 @ 8:05 p.m.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama used the anniversary of Social Security to trumpet Democrats' support for the popular program and accuse Republicans of trying to destroy it.

Seventy-five years after President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Social Security into law, Obama said in his weekly radio and Internet address today: "We have an obligation to keep that promise, to safeguard Social Security for our seniors, people with disabilities and all Americans — today, tomorrow and forever."

Some Republican leaders in Congress are "pushing to make privatizing Social Security a key part of their legislative agenda if they win a majority in Congress this fall," Obama said.

He contended that such privatization was "an ill-conceived idea that would add trillions of dollars to our budget deficit while tying your benefits to the whims of Wall Street traders and the ups and downs of the stock market."

Ever since 1936, this same old song has been played by the Democrats. You'd think they would get another line. What's next? FDR and old Harry Truman with LBJ will form a quartet with the Dali Bama to sing this "a la " barbershop style. Puhleeeze!

Find something original. Maybe Rangl and Watters will give you some ideas.

The Democratic-Socialist Party (DSP) playbook:

1. Buy Votes with taxpayer money. If it explodes the debt and endangers the country...so what!

2. "Palinize" and smear your opponent. An example here is the "race" card played locally here by Bob Hagan, et al. Ironic for a party with such a long history of racism.

3. The "fear" card. See article above.

4. Accuse your opponent of exactly what you are doing. It puts them on the defensive and distracts the simple minds from your misdeeds.

5. Flat out lie. An example here is Timmy Pelosi on the floor of Congress declaring that Bush 43 was going to begin the draft.

6. Use poetic but meaningless language that will intoxicate the most vulnerable minds. I "hope" you understand what I mean here.

7. Use tools like the New Black Panthers intimidating voters for your opponents at polling places in major cities and votes from Felons. And, oh yeah, drop the charges against them even if the evidence is overwhelming.

8. Use the DSP/MSM complex to your advantage. What better example than the Vindy, who I am embarrased that I delivered for as a youth.

President Obama is accurate but late and still quiet solemn on the message.

The republican plan is exactly what rancid ronald regan and george w. bush did. Where regan's reign saw close to a constant 10% national unemployment rate. President William Jefferson Clinton fixed it.

Thus with that economic and global identity resurrection. Via that balanced budget and financial surplus. We witnessed a non elected george w. bush with illegal and unjust manner of attempt to steal the presidency.

Which resulted in the democracy being blunted and he got the first and only appointment to NON-elected office of the U.S. presidency by a corrupt supreme court.

Where boy bush one up'ed ronald regan in unveiling the republicans monarchy plan to bankrupt the democracy and we're living the effects of it.

That's not opinion it's FACT with more stats, records and historic effects that documents. That it's irrefutable that the republican goal is to transform the United States into a dictatorial monarchy.

What disturbs me is why it's taken the democrat's so long and why they're so passive with informing the populous.

Thus is why I'm a take no prisoners and grant no immunity Independent.

I don't fit as a democrat because I'm not passive in my mindset nor diplomacy.

But I'm not dishonest, cunning, deceptive, maniacal or subversive so I don't align with republicans.

Once these United States become a monarchy and loose the power of it's diversity. They'll become as disliked and disrespected as Brittan.

Then be overtaken by a communistic foe as being the biggest prize for whom will seize it as their territory.

What's become of the republicans faction. Is they've become so reprehensible they'll rob the country blind if they can't rule it with their ideologies of racism and sexism.

Social Security is fine thank you. Obumma is just trying to scare the old folks into voting for the DemoLIARS. It won't work and the Republicans will be back in power in Congress after November. This election is all about JOBS and the Demo's have created none except for more in government bought and paid for with our grandchildrens' money to the Chinese.

StoogeSA,..

You lambaste-able liar,..

Just like it's now irrefutably known that the republican faction of theft based monarchists you idol. Are nothing but holdovers from an era of selective privilege and don't give a damn about anything else.

They vow to destroy the country if they can't continue to rob it and use racism and sexism as their maniacal mantra you moronic misfit,..

See you peep another word and I'll absolutely destroy your entire faction of fraud artists right here with audio and visual that only a fool wouldn't understand.

So you whine and lie one more time and consider it and your faction done,.. I dare you.

@ tum0thy

Sure he did,..

He's got dysfunctional idiocy written all over him. Thus without question that mealy mouthed moron of maleficence voted for boy bush / cheney.

Then he followed that up being such a sap handled sicko by supporting insane McCain and bailin Pailin too,.. his imbecility is THAT incurable.

If he or anyone like him dares says another whining liar word here. The entire faction of those of his self sufferance will be exploited beyond repair,.. and they better know it.

I'll unravel them like a puma having my way with a sock puppet. They know I have the ability to determine Novembers elector results right here and right now,.. my fellow American.

See in a pragmatic way I toy with them. But when it comes down to using them for a purpose as a matter of diplomacy I don't play with them,.. and they know it.

This is sad. The president reads the polls and knows that the party of which he is the leader is in danger of losing control in at least one house in Congress. Candidates in districts that are toss-ups don't want him anywhere near them. He refuses to recognize the significance of the Tea-Party movement. So, you break out the old song-and-dance that the Republicans want to take Social Security away from seniors so he can get them out to vote.

Remember, when you want to go forward you put your car in "D" because if you put your car in "R", you are going backwards. Unfortunately, the car is headed for a cliff and Obama is stomping on the pedal!

Vote Democrat so you can keep Bush and Cheney from destroying America!!!!

@ tum0thy

You're very welcomed my fellow sensible American and countryman. We're a nation of all mankind of differing dispositions.

So in a manner of diplomacy sometimes we have to administer precursor announces, of aplomb or atonement to get the attention of some,.. oh the humility of it all.

However, HARK,.. I see we have two gamely crash test dummies that has strapped into their cretin capes and helmets. To have presented themselves as combo candidacies to pose as contestants on a decisive episode of,.. TO TELL THE TRUTH !!!

In preponderance before pouncing ones only left to question. Shall I proceed to play this out on the behest of a mere Slob_shack & his trusty little pull toy tag-a-long rudypoot the gnewt?,... LMAO !!!

See I'm not heartless and since StoogeSA has compliantly refrained. I'd feel a bit remorseful about crushing their caper and not acknowledging his compliance.

Just on the whim of two disbelieving ding-a-lings whom hath no idea. Just how swift and how irreparably I can ravage the base of whom their handlers prey upon,.. merely by waking them up.

Here's a link to a small taste,.. http://www.vindy.com/news/2010/aug/17...

Right now every corporate head that's invested in the republican / Teabagger within earshot.

Is hoping and praying Slob_shack and rudypoot. Shuts up so I'll not make good on my promise of finishing them off prematurely,..

However, I'll have no more mercy and show no more restraint. If one more of their wild eyed witless wonders dares to question my ability to destroy their circus.
