Four months after Kelly Pavlik lost his middleweight titles, cracks are beginning to show inside Team Pavlik.
Pavlik’s father and co-manager, Mike Pavlik Sr., told Steve Kim of Max Boxing on Tuesday he believes his son needs new tutelage after spending his entire amateur and pro career under Jack Loew.
Read the story in Thursday’s Vindicator.

He needs a father/co-manager who will stop turning a "blind eye" to his son's problems!
Maybe the great Kelly should spend a little less time getting drunk.
Not good,..
But see adversity and reduced prize pots are known to create such chaos when denial and non championship cash become focal points.
This is thee stage in Kelly's career where he's going to have to show if he really wants to continue as a true title contender or re-crowned champion.
I just hope if his drive, focus, discipline, will, desire and confidence isn't there he gives it up before he gets hurt in the ring.
In that pit where precision punching is paramount. There's no room for entering the ropes going half hearted. So if any issues of conflict are taken in the ring as baggage.
I'd rather see him give it up and retain his health before he gets blindsided in the ring. Trying to mediate conflicts of interest with a dad and corner man sparring about cuts in regards to business.
So who would he get to train him?... Is he willing to move? Will a big time training be willing to come to youngstown and train him? Where will he train? I am sure Jack wouldn't want him at SOUTH SIDE BOXING CLUB anymore. There are alot of questions to be answered... Winning cures all.
Look at Mike Tyson's career and he's bankrupt and pitiful, Kelly is following the same path, surrounding himself with "yes" men and flunkies...he's finished.
