It's a shame that the Coroner made the families wait untill Monday to ID the victims. Even if Mahoning County has financial issues and the Coroner's investigators don't work the weed-ends. The investigating Campbell police officer had the driver Elijah Paige's photo in his possession. When he phoned the Coroner at his home and asked him , to at lest come open the morgue and he would ID Paige and any of the other passengers so there families could have some type of closure
So then...a "body removal service" comes to the scene, messes up any evidence there would be for forensics, takes the bodies away, and families suffer over the weekend.
Coroner says he "can't be available 24 hours a day". Well, three young people were killed, he could have--out of the goodness of his heart--made an effort to get these bodies identified and help the families who were wondering for about 48 hours! Shame.
Coroners are elected in Ohio. Vote him out.
Wrong....Wrong....You get paid or not ...if you have Any compassion for the family and friends you go!
