PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A New Jersey man is facing charges after police say he intentionally vomited on an 11-year-old girl in the stands during a Phillies game.
Twenty-one-year-old Matthew Clemmens of Cherry Hill, N.J., was arraigned early today on charges stemming from an incident during Wednesday night’s Phillies-Nationals game.
Police say Clemmens began trying to make himself vomit on an off-duty police captain and his family after a companion was removed from the stadium for unruly behavior.
Easton police Capt. Michael Vangelo says he saw Clemmens put his fingers down his throat and throw up, hitting Vangelo and his 11-year-old daughter. Philadelphia police say Clemmens also punched Vangelo and vomited on an arresting officer.
Clemmens faces charges including assault and harassment.

It's truly a shame that this is considered national news.
It just goes to show you that there is no respect for authority and an off duty police officer couldn't even enjoy athe game with his daughter. He got what he deserved.
People do this because it is their culture . Who are we to criticize them ? We should be more tolerant and sensitive toward other cultures . They will be teaching self induced puking in school next so the children may have a well rounded cultural experience . IT'S ALL GOOD AND GETTING BETTER BY THE DAY !
Stan, What the heck are you babbling about? What culture are you talking about?? Matthew Clemens is white.
najjjj :
Subculture knows no color boundries . Anyone can join . I know plenty of trashy white people .
Punishment? They should hold him down while someone vomits all over him.
What if this guy is HIV+?? This could be a case of Attempted Murder or at least Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Make an example of him and throw away the key!
