The Vindy reminds us: "Traficant served seven years and a month convicted in 2002 of 10 felonies including racketeering, bribery, obstruction of justice and tax evasion."

Like we don't know this already.

Thanks for blurring the boundaries between hard news and an advertisement.

Hope he repeats the characterization of the US Congress as a horehouse (with a w in front). They proved it today in a Senate committee by voting down the public option plan for health care. What a bunch of political prostitutes.

I can't wait to her what "Jimbo the Leachate" has to say.
Nothing but a punk wannabe mobster.

Bravo, Jim! You told it like it is despite the attacks on your character. We, The People are, like you, also mad as hell at the political prostitutes and Israeli puppets in the US Congress. How many of them have dual citizenship, like Rahm Emanuel?

Ya know, you "Jimbo bashers" really crack me up. You get on here anonymously and and trash him, but when he was on both the Y-town and Cleveland radio shows, you were all to chicken to call in and take him on. Either that, or these "comments" on the Vindy message board are the same person (um, Bertram, is that you?) trying to make it look like he has that many detractors!

Saw him last night on Fox (Hannity). He is an embarassment to Youngstown and I cringed when Hannity mentioned Youngstown. But some of what he says isn't far off, but coming from him, it all sounds like the preaching of a "wack job"

Hey sick of jimbo,
All the rest of this country's "career politicians" are nothing more than well paid liars who think they deserve celebrity status amongst each other. According to me, that makes them no better than a "punk wannabe mobster", so I'll take the straight talk that makes sense from the "wannabe mobster" rather than the round in circles politically correct answers from your "carrer politicians" any day of the week.

let Jim speak his mind....at least he has the balls to do it!!! not many politicians speak up and out like he does which is why he will again be re-elected should he definitely decide to run for office. the people of Youngstown trust him for many reasons including there is NO ONE else they can count on. He is and will always be genuinely concerned with this area.

Jim has mellowed out . He did say that he would defend Israel if they were attacked .

gee, for such a "loser" it must really bother the "haters" that Jim Traficant is stronger and more popular than ever before!! hmmmm, perhaps those thinking he's an embarrassment can do better. Come to think of it, why aren't any of them on national television programs, asked to speak for local events, and asked to help the automotive workers and retirees??? i guess that makes them an embarrassment to the valley. they may need to quit posting hateful posts and re-examine their own reputation (or perhaps a lack thereof)!!!!

Go Jimbo....!!=]
