Sarvers to mark 50th at dinner hosted by children

AUSTINTOWN — Ronald and Linda Sarver, 116 Marcia Drive, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 3 during a family dinner, to be by invitation at a daughter’s Canfield home.

Their family includes Jill Jones of Canfield and Greg Ramsey, her fianc ; and Jodi and Ron Ziadeh of Boardman. Both daughters are hosting the celebration. The Sarvers also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sarver, who retired in 2005, had been the Channel 19 TV studio secretary at Fitch High School. She is a member of Coitsville Garden Club, 57 Club, and was a member of the Colonial Brigade during the Bicentennial celebration of 1976.

Mr. Sarver retired as a machinist from Wean United in Youngstown in 1986. He also was a Colonial Brigade member for the Bicentennial.

The Sarvers exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 3, 1959, at McGuffey Memorial Methodist Church in Youngstown. She is the former Linda Hamilton.
