Wedding planned by Miss Ponzani and Mr. Tatarka

Armand Ponzani of Canton and Kathi Ponzani of Youngstown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Ponzani, and Chris Tatarka, both of Youngstown.

Parents of the future groom are Pam Tatarka of Youngstown and Tom Tatarka of New Castle, Pa.

The couple have planned a wedding for 2 p.m. Oct. 24 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for an evening reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

The bride-to-be graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at a prison.

The prospective groom is an engineer with Westinghouse Electric Co. in Cranberry, Pa. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from YSU.
