Melissa Peters will be bride of Robert Rosen

BOARDMAN — Richard and Dianna Rosen of Boardman announce the engagement of their son, Robert Frank Rosen, of North Royalton, and Melissa Lyn Peters, of Independence.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff and Patricia Peters of Independence.

Oct. 17 is the date the couple have chosen for their 2 p.m. wedding at St. Basil the Great Church in Brecksville. A reception will follow at Signature of Solon Country Club in Solon. Both events are to be by invitation.

Miss Peters earned a degree in early childhood education from John Carroll University in University Heights. She obtained a master’s degree in educational technology from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, and she is employed as a teacher at The Goddard School in Twinsburg.

The prospective groom, also a John Carroll graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is employed as a programmer analyst for National Interstate Insurance Co. in Richfield.
