Published: Mon, September 14, 2009 @ 5:20 p.m.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police say a man out buying drugs flagged down officers after he couldn’t find the car he’d parked with his 6-year-old stepson inside.

Dino Vicente, 31, of Coopersburg is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and recklessly endangering another person.

Police say Vicente had driven from Lehigh County to Philadelphia to buy drugs before he flagged down a police car around 4:30 Saturday morning. Authorities say he explained that he couldn’t find the car with the boy inside.

Police found the car two hours later about a half-mile from where Vicente hailed officers.

The child was unhurt and turned over to his mother. Vicente remains jailed on $4,000 bail.

this guy must be cracked. losing him was a depressant, but finding the car put him in ecstacy. the cops were heroins. when he saw the car, he probably made them speed to it, next to a pothole. from pennsylvania, it was probably an erie experience for him, driving back to leHigh.
