PITTSBURGH (AP) — A Lawrence County treasurer who lost his job after he was convicted of stealing more than $170,000 in tax receipts has been sentenced to probation for not filing a federal tax return in 2005.

Former Lawrence County Treasurer Gary Felasco Jr. had pleaded guilty to the tax crime in February in a deal with federal prosecutors. He was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Pittsburgh to three years probation including six months on electronic monitoring.
