Stadium press box vandalized

BOARDMAN — Someone discharged a fire extinguisher, damaging the inside of a press box at Spartan Stadium behind Center Middle School.
A school district employee reported that on Wednesday morning, he discovered that someone had entered the press box and discharged a fire extinguisher on the floor and other surfaces.
Nothing was missing, the employee told police.

It's some stupid high school prank. They probably got a chuckle since it made the paper.
Why did this make the paper? Wow, Boardman must have all of a sudden become Beverly Hills if this is the worst thing to happen there. I bet it cost the township a whole twenty bucks to refill the extinguiosher and have a janitor mop up.

It is just as important for The Vindy to offer truth on smaller items such as this for several reasons:
1-- It happened at a high community focal point, which I think you can agree with about a high school football stadium.
2-- Without our three paragraphs, the community's left to rumor:
"I heard they fired off a semi-automatic gun."
"It was an angry reporter who didn't get a free donut at halftime."
"They wrote 'Hate penguin' on the wall."
The Vindy offering 3 simple paragraphs on an incident at a taxpayer-funded facility where hundreds of people gathers helps to keep it a simple incident.
You trying to make The Vindy out to be something lower than that is just typical Vindy pile on. Snore ....
What's next for Boardman headlines, "Traffic like broken on 224, causes two car fender bender"!!!!
