It was obvious years ago that a coaching change is in order. I wish Heacock all the best, but not at the expense of the program. I hope that soon I may wish him a fond farewell.

Time to change coaching at YSU. We don't have to have a loser if we had better coaching and recruiting. Time to find that next young Jim Tressel.

Heacock is a nice guy Not a good coach. Satisfied with average. Probably not a good recruiter. Can't wait to hear all of the excuses. A change is needed.

Unfortunately for YSU, it's time. As I listened to last week's interviews on line, you could tell that Heacock is lost and doesn't know what to do anymore. He has lost this team and I feel he knows that. I'm a Heacock fan, but it's time for a change. YSU needs someone who's going to take chances and be aggressive. Right now YSU is not very good.

I agree completely with SoupCity. Heacock knows he toast. I drove past the stadium yesterday on my way to work, and attendance was pathetic for a Homecoming game.
