BOARDMAN — St. Charles Church was the setting July 25 for the 1:30 p.m. wedding of Ashley Altiero, daughter of Ken and Ruthanne Altiero of Poland, and Rick Walker, son of Rick and Colleen Walker of Struthers.

Guests greeted the couple at a reception afterward at St. Mary Assumption Social Centre in Youngstown, and the couple departed for a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico. They are living in Boardman.

The bride’s strapless gown was fashioned of ivory satin and designed with a corset-style back and V-wrapped side waist. It was embellished with beads.

Clover-colored gowns were worn by the maid of honor, Dayna Despetorich, and bridesmaids, Megan and Kellie Walker, Audra and Lisa Ragozine, Cristina Cala, Liana Daubner, Myriah Moorhead, Lauren McLaughlin and Jenna Petrella. Flower girl was Elizabeth Penczar.

Patrick Walker was best man, and groomsmen were Clayton Walker, Andrew Barth, Jason Doinoff, Brad Brocker, Rory Carney, Adam Altiero, Orin Ponchak, Chris Castillo and Manny Gage. Christian Penczar was ring bearer.

Mrs. Walker has a bachelor’s degree in public communications from Kent State University and is pursuing a master’s degree in higher education at Youngstown State University. She is a graduate assistant at YSU.

The groom holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from YSU, where he is pursuing a master’s in financial economics. He is an account executive with Turning Technologies.
