No, no, no, no, no, no, no

EDITOR:

I am urging a no vote on Issue 3. Why?

If the issue passes, we will not get a casino in the area.

We need local jobs.

A casino could further revitalize the downtown area.

If you want to gamble, it would be easier for the area residents to go to Mountaineer instead of all the way to Cleveland.

If you wanted to work in a casino, you would still have to commute to do so.

The area would be passed over once again.

Christopher, Voting No on Issue 3 does not improve the odds of Youngstown getting a casino. This issue is strictly a pragmatic way of keeping some of the gambling money that's currently leaving the state, here, in Ohio. Money that's spent at Mountaineer goes to West Virginia, not Ohio.

OMG THIS CRAP IS SO SICK,ONE MORE TIME PEOPLE JUST PASS THIS AND WATCH ALL THE GOOD UNFOLD,IT WILL OPEN UP A PLACE IN THE NEAR FUTURE TO HAVE A CASINO IN MAHONING COUNTY,DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT WE ARE GOING TO NOT GET OUR END OF THE MONEY....I DON'T THINK SO

Yup, all that tax revenue and ohioans getting jobs period is not a good idea!! Casino locations are picked by population and economic stability neither of which "Youngstown" scores well in. So how would we get a casino over cleveland, cinncinati, columbus? Bottom line is that OHIO will be getting tax money (which the Mahoning county will actually see) and OHIO jobs will be created. Whats good for one are/county will be good for our state.

On a side note I saw a vote no for issue 3 ad on t.v. last night and was rolling on the floor laughing my a** off! It stated that casinos are bad for families, creates alcohol, drugs and prostitution problems and is the devil. Are you serious? Im not even gonna go into this one but I hope everyone else saw it and had a laugh as good as I did!

Youngstown has all of those issues without a casino. Ohio voters should have passed it along time ago.
