YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for a group of teen boys for the attempted armed robbery of a 57-year-old man walking on the South Side.
The man told police he was walking on Market Street near Avondale Avenue at 8 p.m. Monday when a group of four teens asked him for money. The man handed the group $2, but one boy pulled out a handgun and demanded more cash. The teenagers walked off after the man proved he had no more money.
The man told police the teen with the gun had assaulted him a few weeks ago.

That's sad that the elderly can't even take a walk
people should at least be safe to walk on Market Street . It's time for the City to deliver on its claim a year ago that there is really a police station in the First Pace building at Market & Midlothian . The occasional policing blitz hasn't fooled anyone .
Also , I wouldn't call 57 "elderly" .

This is a reason to have a conceal carry permit, teen or not,if he is big enough to pull a gun on someone, then he is big enough to see Jesus. It's time this punks are taught a lesson, take out one or two and they may think twice,or may not, either way, this nonsense must stop.
57..elderly?!?...I hope not!!!!
Mikeymike,
I love the saying "he is big enough to see Jesus" May I use it if the occasion arises?
57 elderly!!!!!??? Ouch! I resemble that remark!
