Boil order issued for some Niles water customers

NILES — A break in a water line has caused a boil order to be issued for some city residents.

Those who live on Deforest Avenue between state Route 169 and Warren Avenue are asked to boil all water until further notice. Those residents in surrounding areas are not required to boil water.

A waterline in the Deforest Avenue area of Weathersfield Township burst around 5 p.m. today.
