Anniversary is observed by the Bankses

YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Robert Banks of Youngstown observed their 65th wedding anniversary on Oct. 21.

The former Velma Snyder and Mr. Banks were united in marriage on that date in 1944 at the Elm Street Welsh Church.

Mrs. Banks retired after 20 years of employment at Packard Electric.

A veteran of World War II, Mr. Banks retired from U.S. Steel after 35 years of service.

Their family includes three sons, Robert Jr., Dale, and Richard, and their spouses, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
