Wash anniversary observed at Mass and dinner party

BOARDMAN — Mr. and Mrs. Steve Wash, 708 Orlo Lane, were congratulated by family and friends as they observed their 50th wedding anniversary during a Mass and dinner at 4 p.m. Oct. 17 at Café 422, Warren.

The former Marilyn Senerchia and Mr. Wash were married on that date in 1959 at St. Mary’s Church in Warren. They are members of St. Matthias Church.

Their family includes Julie and Marty Oravec of Boardman, Steve and Karen Wash of Poland and Pam and Tony Frank of Huron, and eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wash was a teller and loan specialist at Mahoning National Bank in Youngstown when she retired in the 1990s. She is a member of the Red Hatters.

Mr. Wash served with the U.S. Navy, and retired in the 1980s as a machinist with Metal Carbide in Youngstown.
