BOARDMAN — St. James Meeting House was the setting at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 1 for the wedding of Megan Kaye Wallace, 6321 St. Andrews Drive, Apt. 42, Canfield, and Benjamin Joseph Miller, 171 Frana-Clara St., Apt. 1, Louisville. Pastor Jason Vickery officiated.
After a reception at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard, they honeymooned in St. Augustine, Fla., and live at 343 Oak St., Canfield.
Parents of the bride are Gary and Georgia Wallace, 3901 Claridge Drive, Austintown. The groom’s parents are Dr. William Miller, 1546 Patriots Point, Canton, and Dr. Fran-Piatt Miller, 5532 Island Drive, Canton.
The bride wore a beaded white halter style gown with pleated chiffon bodice and a sweep train.
The honor attendant, Jordan Moore, and the bridesmaids, Tydin Miller and Emily Miller, wore pool-colored gowns.
Michael Miller was best man. Groomsmen were Kalen Wallace and Jim Savage. Ushers were Lucas Moore and Dan Savage.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in music education, the bride is a junior high school music teacher with Salem City Schools. She is pursuing a master’s in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix.
The groom graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and is a high school art teacher with Marlington Local Schools, Alliance.
