As a registered nurse I have been a long-time and assertive advocate for the protection of the health, safety and quality of life of American families. I have worked steadfastly for equal access to needed health services and I have spent years researching, identifying and seeking reforms that will reduce and eliminate health hazards as well as ensure health protection. Especially for those most at risk; the young, families and senior citizens who are least able to afford and overcome threats to their quality of life. We are closer now than ever to enacting comprehensive reform. Reform that puts people before profit. An unprecedented coalition of doctors and nurses and a huge percentage of the American people are behind President Obama’s plan. We have not been misled by the rhetoric and misinformation because we KNOW the truth; gained through experience, training and research. Tens of millions of Americans have no health insurance, living one accident or illness away from total health, financial disaster and possibly death. Hundreds of millions of Americans who have insurance live with the constant worry that they might lose it, lose their jobs or that their insurance company might cancel their plan when they get sick.
President Obama’s plan strives to make insurance work better by holding the insurance industry accountable. Under the president’s plan, it will be against the law for insurance companies to:
X Deny coverage based on a pre-existing condition.
X Drop or weaken coverage when you get sick.
X Place caps on the amount of coverage you can receive in a given year or a lifetime.
It’s time to finish the job and pass real reform. It’s time to ensure the protection of America’s greatest resource; it’s people. The young who are just beginning their lives and the older Americans who deserve to age with dignity.

Harry Reid went on camera and told people it is closer to 2 trillion dollars to do this?
And just ask these questions to your self, and think for a moment Torte Reform? Opening up insurance companies to the free market. like auto insurance companies have done.
Then remember the company out there with the highest "we are not going to do that procedure" is medicare at almost 7%
. So if you want that number to improve keep supporting Nobama.

Linda, maybe if we enthusiatically support the Bamster socialized health plan, we can end up with something similar to Cuba's. Wouldn't that be great? FREE, FREE, FREE HEALTH CARE! And the "rich" will have to pay for all of it.
Then the government can:

We will certainly benefit from national health reform from the government who gave us the efficiency of the Post Office and the compassion of the IRS.

The three conditions you are afraid of from the government already exist and are enforced by the insurance companies. The government plan will eliminate these unfair practices of the insurance companies. You should really try and get some help with your compulsive lying problem.
You also complain about the post office. When you send a letter or small package across town or across the country do you use the post office or UPS or FedX or what? I use the post office and have never had a problem.

CamBilge, the insurance industry doesn't have death panels, i.e. Czar Sunstein, you remember, the human organ thief? That's eliminating unfair practices? I'm happy you're satisfied with the heavily taxpayer subsidized Post Office. Are you safisfied with way the IRS mulitates your gross amount of each and every paycheck, it's your hard earned money? It's no secret why many Americans can't afford health insurance. The can't afford the enslaving taxes they have to pay, about 50%.
Govt. regulation prohibits insurance companies from competing against each other, state to state, which greatly reduces the opportunity for us to benefit from competition. Why can't individuals form their own group plans? That would reduce insurance premiums as well.
The reason why paying for health insurance is a problem for many people? The government. Over-regulation and over-taxation.

Although i believe that the insurance companies put the screws to us the government getting involved in ay business is a cause for concern. Nothing the government has ever gotten invloved has ever turned a profit and just look at Medicare its about to go bankrupt. We don't want or need government intrusion into our lives.
Hope, check out Czar Sunstein online. He DID state something to the affect he's in favor of harvasting the organs of terminally ill patients for the greater good of society.
