Hummers no longer in Austintown showroom

Published: Tue, October 6, 2009 @ 11:59 a.m.

AUSTINTOWN — Car dealer Greg Greenwood has emptied his Hummer showroom on Mahoning Avenue because he was running low on inventory.

Greenwood moved his last four new Hummer vehicles to his adjacent Chevrolet lot.

General Motors has stopped production of Hummers as it works on selling the brand to a Chinese company. Greenwood said GM has told dealers they may have to wait until the end of November before they learn if the sale will go through.

The only time I was at his lot they only had about a dozen in stock anyway. I imagine he hasn't reordered in weeks so it is possible that they've sold.

Let's go green!! Golf carts for all and I am going to hug a tree!!

Everyone relax, Government Motors CEO, Barry O, knows what he is doing. Most of his experience in life is community organizing and street hustlin!! That experience easily transfers to the board rooms of big business.

When the Hummer deal goes through, there is going to be a 'huge' jump in the GM stock price. Possibly 100% gain. Stock will go from $.61 to $1.22!! I smell a NBC special on Barry's accomplishments at GM....

Keep living the dream liberals. Cotton candy, lollipops, & unicorns for all.

November 2010 is coming soon!!
