Church chosen for Metz-Payne Nov. 7 wedding

POLAND — James and Pamela Payne, 4611 Dobbins Road, are announcing the engagement of their son, Atty. John Richard Payne, 2009 Brookhaven Drive, Lima, and Amber Nicole Metz, a daughter of Kent and Mary Ann Metz, all of 214 N. Rauthland Ave., Wapakoneta.

The bride-elect graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a bachelor’s degree. She is a publicist with Winepress Publishing Group in Enumclaw, Wash.

The prospective groom graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor’s degree and earned his juris doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Law in Toledo. He is a law clerk with the Ohio Third District Court of Appeals in Lima.

The couple have chosen Lima Baptist Temple for their open wedding at noon Nov. 7, and Lima Baptist Temple gym for their by-invitation reception immediately after the ceremony.
