Wow, Another Catholic School win... lovely. Let's meet and greet the team at Mass on Sunday, what Parish?
Catholic Schools don't recruit - Yea Right!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO: URSULINE, MOONEY, NEW WILMINGTON, PA [public school] and FARRELL, PA [public school].
@FunMeter: any church or temple will do.
One does NOT have to be Catholic to attend these schools or Jewish to go to Temples.
Congratulations to Ursuline and Mooney.Fun meter Youngstown Christian school has Catholics going there, are you going to pick on them next. You and Mooney 93 don't get it,parents in certain neighborhoods want good education for their children and the Youngstown public schools don't benefit them.I know there are kids from Boardman,Austintown,Canfield and Poland ,but I'm making a point. You to only hate .
TO: mikeymike,
Must agree with YOU^^^ on above post. I forgot to include "Youngstown Christian School" in any of my comments.
There ARE ways to attend these private schools.
It is called: WORK for a living. Get good grades. Respect others. It is NOT all about SPORTS.
We pay huge TAXES to support 'public education'.
At least we live in OHIO, so we can VOTE.
In COMMONWEALTH states [i.e.: PA, MA, etc.]
an individual property owner does NOT have a choice. They MUST pay; even if they do not have children.
HHHMMMNNN?????
so what you're really saying is that all those kids in the public schools should attend private schools?
No what we are saying is,they have a choice,I have a friend who works two jobs in order to send thier child to a private school, they feel that, their child will get a better education, and there is more discipline.Case in point, article on the student robbed by four punks during school hours at East High School. Not everyone lives in safe communities and has good safe quality schools, that's a fact.
gypsygirl720,
The other way to get into private schools is the having the ability to catch or throw a football and have your tuition paid for by the boosters.
ALL you private school haters get over it,what do you think the public schools do with open enrollment students? Let them catch and throw a football,or dunk a basketball. These are High school kids, get a life.BTW I went to a public school,so I'm not pushing private schools, only facing the facts of life.

Division 1:
Hilliard Davidson
vs.
Cleveland Glenville
No mention of Ignatius, Elder, Moeller, X, or any of the other big Division 1 Catholic Schools. These two teams had to beat them to make it to state, and they did.
GO URSULINE
BEAT COLDWATER!
Good Point VALLEYRED but I think most people wouldnt complain at Mooney and Ursuline if they played Division 1because if the obvious superiority in talen and the sheer number of players they have on their roster. I think we coan all agree they tend to dress almost double the amount of players their opponents do.
They dress their Freshman which most schools don't do that accounts for about 30 players.
Ursuline dresses their freshman. However, Mooney does not.
Ursuline had 35 players on their freshman team this year.
VALLEYRED The thing is some teams dont even have 30 freshmen players to dress on their roster.
The funniest statement in this entire lineup is the actual name of Cleveland Glenville: Cleveland Glenville ACADEMIC Campus...haha. Yeah, Academics are atop that schools list of achievements!
