Promis Cabbil’s 20 points leads B-W over Geneva

BEREA — Sophomore point guard Promis Cabbil scored a career-high 20 points Monday as the Baldwin-Wallace College men’s basketball team defeated Geneva College, 88-76.

The Yellow jackets improve to 1-2 and play on Saturday at Bethany College. Geneva is 1-2.

A 10-0 run early sent the Yellow Jackets to a 12-3 lead. The Golden Tornadoes responded with their own 15-2 run to regain the lead. The jackets countered with a 10-0 run to seize control.

Kyle Brown scored 16 points while Zane Meeder and Kevin Gall each netted 10.

For the Golden Tornadoes, Rick Kolick scored 22 points, Lambros Svingos had 16 and Bryan Hill 12.
