Donations sought for military personnel

NEWTON FALLS — The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3332 and Auxiliary are collecting cookies and hygiene items to be placed in boxes and mailed to military personnel during the Christmas season.

The donated items should be taken to the post on Arlington Road by Sunday. They will be packed at 6 p.m. Monday.

Names of family members or friends who are serving at home or overseas, and their addresses, can be dropped off and will be added to the mailing list.
