Coroner rules Warren shooting death a homicide

Published: Tue, November 24, 2009 @ 1:15 p.m.

WARREN — The death of a city man whose body was found on North Feederle Street Southeast early Sunday has been ruled a homicide. Dr. Humphrey Germaniuk, Trumbull County coroner, ruled James I. Folmar died of multiple gunshot wounds. Dr. Germaniuk would not say how many times Folmar was shot.

Warren police said Tuesday they have not made any arrests. Folmar, 37, lived on South Feederle Drive in the Trumbull Homes housing development near the Willard K-8 School. Police found the body when responding to calls regarding gunshots being fired and someone running way. They found Folmar’s body in the roadway.
