Youngstown State outscored North Dakota State 18-7 in the fourth quarter to rally for a 39-35 victory in the season finale at the Fargodome.
The win gave the Penguins (6-5) a winning record in what could have been the final game in Jon Heacock's nine-year tenure as head coach.

Go, YSU! I say KEEP the coach right here.
Congratulations Penguins!!
What an exciting game...and no one can broadcast the game like Bob Hannon and Dick Hartzell. They are the best!!
"Keep the Coach right here" ??????
Why? One playoff year out of nine is satisfactory? Nine years wasn't enough of a chance? Heacock's performance is somebody else's fault?
As a lifelong Penguin fan who has traveled to see them play many times, I wished today for them to lose in case somehow a 6-5 record would keep Heacock at the helm.
it sure was nice, especially for the seniors, to win their last game at home and then their last game on the road. go penguins!
Great day to be a Penguin:

Heacock is on the way out.
nonsocialist: How can a so-called "lifelong Penguin fan" ever justify wanting the team to lose?! Give me a break.
