Mahoning grand jury indicts man on eight counts of rape

YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted a man accused of forcing a teen to have sexual intercourse.

According to the indictment, David T. Adams, 36, of New Road, Austintown and Madison, Alabama compelled a then 16-year-old girl to have sexual intercourse using force or threat. The indictment list eight counts of rape against Adams between July 2007 and November 2008, and May 2009 and August 2009.

If convicted of all eight first-degree felony charges, Adams could be sentenced to 80 years in prison.
