YOUNGSTOWN — A 20-year-old city man is facing multiple charges after police say he shot his live-in girlfriend in the stomach during an argument.
Wallace Lewis, 20, of 175 E. Ravenwood Ave., appeared via video arraignment today before Judge Elizabeth Kobly of Youngstown Municipal Court on charges of attempted aggravated murder, illegal possession of a weapon, probation violations and theft. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Prosecutors told the court Lewis has a criminal history that includes a pervious domestic violence charge. Judge Kobly set bond at $500,000.
Lewis is due back in court Nov. 25 for a preliminary hearing before the judge.
