Chow Chow events to benefit hospital

BOARDMAN — Area Howard Hanna Real Estate offices will host a series of Chow Chow events to support the Howard Hanna Free Care Fund, which will benefit Akron Children’s Hospital of Mahoning Valley.

Admission to each event includes a buffet meal, entertainment, raffles, and silent and Chinese auctions. Reservations are not required.

The events are as follows:

•Wednesday, a traditional Thanksgiving luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave. Cost $5. Hosted by the Poland/Columbiana offices. For information call Alicia Kosec, (330) 707-1000.

•Dec.4, a chili cook-off at McKinley Heights Fire Station 222 Gardenland Ave., Niles. Cost $5 per person. Hosted by the Howland office. Contact Theresa Thompson at (330) 856-7600.

•Dec. 8, an Italian dinner, reverse raffle, silent and Chinese auctions, and a 50-50 drawing at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. The cost is $10. Hosted by the Canfield office. Call Gina Shutrump at (330) 702-8400 for information.

Raffle tickets for a 2010 Jeep Liberty 4x4 will be available at the Chow Chow events and Howard Hanna offices for $5 each or three for $10. Proceeds will go to the free care fund.
