Two shot dead in Liberty ID'ed as adult female and juvenile

LIBERTY — Details remain sketchy about a double homicide late Sunday at a residence at 3022 Northgate Drive in the southern part of the township, near the Youngstown border.

Police said at a news conference today the two were identified as an adult female and juvenile. Police said the two were related, but they did not specify the relationship. They have not released the names, while awaiting a ruling from the Trumbull County coroner's office, which also is investigating

Capt. Toby A. Meloro said he asked the county's homicide task force for assistance.
