PITTSBURGH (AP) — A Pittsburgh man and state trooper accused of roughing him up and breaking his ankle have settled the man’s civil rights lawsuit.
Twenty-eight-year-old Christopher Strothers claims Trooper Samuel Nassan assaulted him outside Pittsburgh bar in July 2008. Strothers claims city police were breaking up a fight between Strothers and a woman when Nassan intervened, handcuffed him and threw him down.
Strothers’ lawyer says settlement terms reached last week are confidential.
Nassan fatally shot an unarmed 12-year-old Uniontown boy in 2002. That lawsuit was settled for $12.5 million.
Nassan is also being sued by the family of a Pittsburgh motorist he fatally shot in March during a drunken driving patrol.

whats wrong is we have a rogue cop out there that instead of firing and prosecuting we would rather let him violate others, kill them, then hand out money to the victims.Another case that shows why citizens lack respect for those in authority especially those in law enforcement.
